From deli sandwiches and shawarmas to premium steaks, iconic desserts, and grocery must-haves, delivery app companies issued their year-end report on Wednesday detailing UAE residents’ food ordering habits. This included more than 1.6 million burgers ordered this year, or about 4,400 burgers a day.
Deliveroo shared the Top 30 trending orders in the UAE, offering insights on what consumers “craved, clicked and reordered throughout the year, across food, beverages, and everyday essentials.”
According to Deliveroo, their list “reflects the UAE’s rapidly evolving on-demand delivery culture, where gourmet meets grab-and-go, lifestyle essentials and food now coexist in a single basket, and customers increasingly seek high-quality dishes delivered at their doorstep.”

1.6 million burgers
Careem, meanwhile, noted more than 1.6 million burgers have been delivered this year. That’s equivalent to about 4,400 burgers placed on the food delivery app every day.
The largest single order placed on Careem was worth more than Dh1,600 for 15 Legendary Brisket Feasts from Mattar Farm. One foodie has made more than three orders a day, or about 1,250 orders so far this year.
Careem bike riders completed 1.8 million trips, covering more than 7.8 million kilometres and displacing 1.2k tonnes of CO2 emissions. Collectively, they burned 172 million calories in 2025. The most committed cyclist completed 2,090 trips this year, or five trips daily.
As an ‘everything app, Careem rides across the UAE have covered more than 160 million kilometres. This is equivalent to traveling between the Earth and Moon more than 200 times.
AmoAmong the unique items forgotten in rides were two carpet rolls and a guitar. The most commonly forgotten items included phones, AirPods, and wallets, Careem added.
